Ayutha Puja is a hindu festival celebrated on the 9th day of Navaratri. Ayutha Pooja is also known as "astra Pooja". Ayutha Pooja is celebrated by the worship of tools used every day . Vijaya Dasami is also known as dasara and dussehra. This festival is cleaning the tools, vehicle , machine,equipment etc...dasara is special to celebrate the nine days.

NAVARATRI

Navaratri is an annual hindu festival . Navaratri honour of the goddess Durga and Parvati. Navaratri means nine nights, dedicated three days for worshipping the God "Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi". The ninth day is the most important day to celebrate the Vijayadashami. During these first three days worship the God Durga,the next three days worship the God Lakshmi and last three days worship the God Saraswati. The ninth day is celebrated the Vijay dashami.

On this day, clean all instruments like tools, vehicles, machines etc... the mixture of turmeric and sandalwood applied the tools ,vehicles ,books etc.. these instruments ,books and others in front of the goddess to pray .

Ayutha Pooja is not just about tools, it also celebrates Saraswati Pooja. The tools and objects in front of God. The God seeking her blessings and permission. It is believed to be successful and prosperity to one's work.
