In olden days people don't have any kind of artificial sweeteners, they produce the jaggery in natural way from the sugarcane. Sowing the sugarcane stem in the soil and it took 10-12 months to full mature cane produces good quality jaggery powder with great sweetness. The harvested sugarcane is loaded with abundant amount of juice they are crushed with wooden setup to extract the juice. The extracted juice is heated and made into jaggery balls and jaggery powder. The entire process is completely chemical free and no artificial agents involved.
